Project Manager Intern

Tobams Group is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to pursue a career in project management. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced project managers and gain hands-on experience in various aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning and scheduling, including creating timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support project managers in coordinating resources, tasks, and activities to ensure project objectives are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and track progress.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Participate in project meetings, documenting minutes, action items, and follow-up tasks.
- Support project managers in maintaining project documentation and updating project status reports.
- Assist in evaluating project performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools/software like Jira, Asana, and Trello is a plus.
- Prior internship experience in project management or related fields is preferred but not required.
- A passion for learning and a strong desire to pursue a career in project management.
